The end of the amazing shower saga
June 27th, 2010 01:39 pmScott, the cute plumber, came by the house this morning to work on my shower issue. He said here is no way I could have fixed myself - even he had a hard time with it. In fact, he let me know that he would need to cut a hole from the attic if he couldn't fix things. Thankfully with some expertise and patience, Scott was able to get the broken thread removed from the pipe. He even went to Lowe's with me to make sure I bought the right stuff, then he installed all the hardware and made sure it did not leak. While he was here, he also checked out a replacement faucet that Brian had bought but never installed (it's the wrong kind) AND tinkered with the master bath toilet that runs a wee bit.
Cost for a plumbing house call on a Sunday? $100. Well worth it!
The weather is wicked hot outside so I am staying inside where it is nice and comfy.
