You can't make this stuff up!
July 13th, 2010 08:35 pmAt 8:30 this morning I was informed that one of our work trucks was missing. After exhausting all possible avenues (when was it last seen, calling the driver, looking for the spare keys, etc.) I made the decision to call the Police and report it as stolen.
If you have to see an 18' yellow box truck roaming around, please let me know.
Fortunately for my company, there was NO mail in the back of the truck. Unfortunately for the thief or thieves (should they be caught), there ARE several skids of US Postal Service supplies - which are considered property of the Federal Government.
<< sigh >>
On the positive side, Tucker came to the office with me today and was a big hit with most folks. A few folks were afraid of him (but hey, that kept them out of my office!) and one person even thought I had a pet tiger. My boss not only fed him treats of two different kinds but saved some chicken from her lunch too! I'm really grateful for the chance to bring him in with me - this way he wasn't lonely without Duchess and he is a great ambassador for the breed.
Duchess is spending the night at the spay clinic and will be coming home tomorrow. (Thanks Mom!)
