Almost the weekend
August 19th, 2010 09:49 pmI am ready to sleep in and get some things done around the house this weekend. With all the rain that we have had lately, the lawn needs to be mowed to boot.
Was all set to get out of work more or less on time when several folks in a row stopped by for advice and what-not. It was after 6 pm when I finally left.
Stopped on my way home this evening to get a box turtle out of the road. When I approached him, he took off so fast I could hear his nails scraping on the asphalt. After a ride in the Endeavor, I turned him loose in a wildlife management area that is off the beaten track.
My attorney wrote to me today to let me know that she has left a "zillion" messages for the ex's lawyer and that she is furious. She may end up sending in the divorce decree to the court with a note saying that they other side refuses to respond.
