Getting ready

After three trips to the grocery store, I am finally ready for the holiday weekend. Tomorrow I will start prepping what I can (mainly the lasagna) and plot a course for food prep on Wednesday. Additionally the dogs need baths and the house will get a final sprucing.

Okay, I'm back.

In today's travels, I scored a really nice blouse from JC Penney. After the sale price and a discount coupon, said blouse for FOUR DOLLARS. I freaking love shopping wins like that. Almost purchased a denim skort, but I just couldn't get past the thunder thighs.

Next stop was Mom's so that we could swap stuff and I could play with Shadow's puppies. With only four in the litter, they are getting huge fast. Eyes are open now and they are trying to walk. And they have PUPPY BREATH! Seriously, that is one of the best smells on the planet.

Virginia is still enjoying some amazing weather for late November and I took advantage of it to give the GoldWing a bath before putting it up for the winter. It was tempting to take it out for a spin but I still had my (not-motorcycle-friendly) errands to run.
