Hallmark stuff

It's a funny thing really. Sometimes you don't know you have it until you turn a corner in your life that allows you to see things in a different light or realization. Then the light bulb goes off and hopefully one is astute enough to realize it.
For many years now, I would see cards in the Hallmark store for the "love of my life" and while the sayings were nice, I knew that I did not have the "love of my life" at all. There are different kinds of love, different levels, if you will.
Perspective.
For the past ten years or so, I have, at times, questioned my love for someone and his love for me. Some of this I see in hindsight and some of it I knew to be true if I am honest with myself. So now that I am unequivocally in love without doubts or questions seems somewhat spectacular.
Perspective.
Sitting here in the city home, I can confess that I have been blessed with meeting the love of my life. This man - this truly amazing and precious man - and I share a love that is tangible and encompassing and magnificent. As we weave our lives together, we are full of hope and are excited to see where this journey takes us. Together.
