How can the week be over?
January 2nd, 2011 11:00 pmThis past week has just gone by much too quickly!
daecabhir and I met up with some of his friends for a yummy lunch at the Capitol Ale House in old town F'burg. Lambic on tap is always a winner for me and while they "only" had one selection on tap, they had many bottled versions to choose from. SCORE!
Another bonus was that the pub still had some mistletoe up; of course,
daecabhir and I had to smooch under it.
After lunch we swung by Wegman's and we managed to not get thrown out of the store for smooching in a few aisles.
We're hopeless but, hey, we're happy, really damn happy.
Hard to believe that we will pack up
daecabhir tomorrow morning and ship him back to the city home.
Other big news for tomorrow is me having a second phone interview with a company out of F'burg and some friends coming in to spend the night.
Also on the agenda is having to do some additional research for Tucker's dental needs. We took him to the vet earlier in the week because of a tooth discoloration. The root of the tooth is dying and we need to figure out what will be best for Tucker - an extraction or root canal. It's an odd kind of irony, I don't think I would ever want to go through a root canal for me, but I am trying to find out if it is the best option for my dog.
My total dork moment for the week comes in the form of learning to drive the Prius. It handles surprisingly well and has power far beyond what you would expect.
