Doggy dentistry day
January 24th, 2011 09:02 pm Tucker had his root canal today. He and I left country home at 8 am to head for Leesburg. After meeting with Dr. Chamberlain, I called
daecabhir for a reality (i.e. sanity) check about the procedure. Dr. C was confident that Tucker's tooth is a good candidate for the procedure and we went ahead with it. Tuck's doing mostly okay, he's whimpering a bit though; I hope the pain meds they gave me for him are enough. My Discover card, on the other hand, is still smarting a bit and received no pain medicine whatsoever.
it was a bit odd driving around Leesburg. JC and I lived there for a while and I didn't recognize a thing.
Speaking of
daecabhir - he headed for city home today. So as not to whine publicly, suffice to say that he and I will be very happy when there is the "one house".
Nothing but static to report on the job front. The folks from the magazine never got back to me for round 3 and a check of the local government sites over the weekend turned up absolutely nothing.
Offensive bumper sticker of the day: "Be patriotic, say merry Christmas". Do not confuse my love of country with your god!
