Sorry to say...

I had thought about typing up some elaborate April Fool's prank that would be witty and clever but alas, my brain cells have let me down. Instead I encourage you to use your imagination and think of some crazy scheme that I could have posted here instead.

On a side note, I told the contractor that is handling our roofing project that i had changed my mind and wanted to go green with a grass roof.

Speaking of said roofing project, we are forging ahead. shingles have been ordered and should be delivered to country home by the time I arrive there on Monday. Now to figure out if we want to replace the gutters at the same time.

Made a trip to daecabhir storage unit today and brought back some stuff to the city home so that he could sort through it and find it good homes. On my way out of town on Monday, I will be stopping back there and filling up Mom's minivan to the brim with boxes. We'll have the storage unit empty by the end of the month and one less bill to pay.

Spent the afternoon with dreamtigress and Rachel for some girl time and yummy food. dreamtigress did a bang up job redoing her kitchen floor. She's been the DIY home improvement maven lately!

Mom went to country home today to meet the folks who bought the big chair. It was a nice chair but really overpowered the space. Fortunately I got back what I paid for it and the new owners seem delighted with it.

Although I have not mentioned it here, my thoughts have been with J from PA. Much healing energy and love to you dear one.
