April 12th, 2011 09:40 pmMother Nature was fairly kind to us together with mostly gentle rain on and off throughout the day. Without gutters on the house, the water cascades off the roof and is leaving an outline in the grass and mulch.
Spent a good part of my morning sorting out various invoices with people. The quote from the roofing contractor is $100 higher than anticipated, gutter guards are outrageously expensive, we had seriously funky bandwidth usage over the weekend and the long distance phone bill was amiss as well.
The Endeavor has an appointment tomorrow for a recall. It'll be the first time I am visiting the new Mitsubishi franchise in Fredericksburg.
The process of going through some areas of the house and giving the items that are stored there a reality check has started. Lots of things have lived upstairs simply because there was space. Now I'm identifying rarely used stuff that can live downstairs, items that are no longer needed, etc. so that hopefully the amalgamation of city home and country home will go smoother.
