Mid-April already?
April 14th, 2011 10:10 pm Holy smokes! I turn around and half the month is gone.
Just in case you missed it (as I seemed not to have posted) yesterday was April 13th or 413 - which happens to be my favorite number.
The weather here was stellar today. Sadly I missed a good chuck of the morning because I slept late. Not being able to fall asleep coupled with being woken up at 2 am by Tucker made for a late-sleeping girl.
Tucker woke me up because his ear was bleeding. He'd had a little notch out of the end that I had treated and while it had been doing fine, apparently it decided to bleed in the middle of the night. Not a lot of blood but enough to make Tucker shake his head. In fact, he shook his head so much that he had a bloody spot on the top of his head and on the bottom of his neck where the tip of his ear would touch each time he shook.
It took a bit to get the bleeding stopped and Tucker cleaned up. After a failed bandage attempt, I decide to use blue-kote on the wound. This results in several purple fingers but at least it did the trick on Tuck's ear. By this time, I was wide awake and didn't crawl back into bed until 3 am.
In preparation for the new gutters that will installed next week, I pulled off the five downspouts from the front of the house since the roofing contractor had left them in place. And since we are going to re-use the old gutter guards, I scrubbed them clean so that they're ready to be re-installed. A friend from NJ told me about a cleaner called Awesome (found at most dollar stores) and it worked liked a charm.
Tomorrow is a travel day - I am off to Charm City for a whirlwind weekend with![[info]](https://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=3)
