And so it goes

Yesterday turned out to be a break in progress day ... we enjoyed a wonderful visit with a friend of mine from North Carolina. She gave me permission to keep![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
daecabhir which is convenient since I have no interest in giving him up. LOL
After lunch we tried out the infamous sleep number bed since several folks had recommended it to us when they heard we were mattress shopping. Sadly we were less than impressed and with the high-end model selling for about double what a good latex mattress goes for, we really can see the sense in it. We'll be giving the latex mattress another try out just to make certain that it is the right one for us before we buy.
In the evening, we swung bydreamtigress to pick up some boxes and ended up having dinner at the new restaurant across the street, Meet 27. Seems they are still playing with the preparation of their cuisine (they've only been open a week). The burgers were so-so but daecabhir loved the chili paneer. Next time we go, I am going to see if they can cut down the heat on the chili paneer because the flavor was magnificent, just a too bit hot for my delicate palate.
