TGIF, Charm City, final version
May 20th, 2011 02:32 pmToday is the last day of packing here at city home. It seems that we will be running out of boxes today as well. It's this last part of any move that always seems the hardest. The odd shaped stuff, things you left out thinking you would need them, etc.
Weather for the move weekend is looking clear but warm. The rain that has been hanging with us throughout the week should not be a concern. Of happy news, we have gotten more help for both the loading of the truck in Charm City and the unload at country home. Thank goodness!
A representative from Safeway called this morning and did a taped interview with me about the incident. She was very nice and professional; also a bit dismayed that no one from the actual store had called to check in on me. She said that she would call me back in a week or so to make certain that I am okay and that perhaps she will send me a little something like a gift card for my trouble. She laughed when I mentioned the part about messing up my pedicure.
