- That Mom found someone to repair her garage at a fair price.
daecabhir smiling and blowing a kiss at me when I am looking pensive.
daecabhir getting a job offer!
- Tucker taking his meds like a good boy.
- After sitting here for the better part of 15 minutes, I can't really think of a 5th excellent thing that happened today. =(
A Tuesday in August
August 9th, 2011 10:11 pmI'm still thudding around in the boot. Somehow the bloody thing weighs about 3 pounds when I put it on in the morning and about 20 pounds when I take it off in the evening. The middle of my foot (where the stress fracture is) doesn't hurt while I wear the boot and for that I am very thankful.
Tucker, who seemed to be over his long bout of diarrhea had a re-lapse while he and Duchess were at Mom's over the weekend, so I took him to the vet yesterday evening. $157 later, we came home with two types of medication and no solid diagnosis. He'll be on a probiotic and an antibiotic (Flagyl) for the next week or so. Otherwise, he is happy and acting normally.
This past weekend found us in Baltimore;
daecabhir had a meeting to attend and we decided to make the most of our traveling north. After the meeting, we picked up
dreamtigress and had a yummy dinner a Tambers. They have lots of delicious food but I usually end up ordering the chicken tikka marsala because it is just the best I've ever had. Sunday morning after an "interesting" breakfast at a whacky little place called Paper Moon, the three of us met Ben & Jean at the AVAM. What a fantastic place this museum is! Of course, the company couldn't be beat! Sadly, Ben & Jean had to call it a day a little early and head back to PA but we thoroughly enjoyed getting to see them whenever we can. Once we had seen the sights at AVAM, we ended up at Kumari for dinner - another Charm City favorite of ours. Their butter chicken is simply amazing!
