September 22nd, 2011 10:19 pmSince I was able to spend all of last night with my regular CPAP mask on, I was able to sleep better than I have been all week (and breathe through my nose) which helped me greatly in feeling better today. One of the folks on vacation showed up sick and while I hate to blame her, I am pretty sure that she's the cause of it. Several other beach attendees came down with the crud to boot.
Now to play a little catch up...
The beach trip –
daecabhir and I had a wonderful time in the OBX on our vacation. (Well, it was a bit sad that our friends from PA could not join us as planned due to a flooded basement.) Even with a few days of rain at the end of our stay, we had fun. There was lots of swimming in the heated pool, getting up early to catch the sunrise on the beach, wild horse watching, too much food, sleeping in, reading, playing games, and, of course, lots of laughs.
With feeling a bit better today (I feel like I actually have a brain!) I took the Wing to Fredericksburg for a few errands. It seems that the bike likes the new Hawker Odyssey battery. Time will tell if it was a wise investment. A big thanks goes to
daecabhirfor doing the wiring for me since I am such a chicken when it comes to things like batteries and electricity. Besides he looked so cute sitting on the floor working on my bike with his ball cap turned around.
My projects for this week all involve sewing – I am making pouches for the fans that
dreamtigress has ordered for faire, I have two skirts to make for her as well and just in case that is not enough sewing, I still have a pair of wrap pants to finish for daecabhir. If all goes well, I will have about 40 pouches to sell at faire for those want them.
I had planned to write more, but LiveJournal ate much of my post TWICE and I had to re-type it so that means I am out of time for now…
