Just have a few moments before I leave for pottery class (#2) and thought I would check in...
daecabhir and I woke up around 5:20 am this morning and on my way to the bathroom I saw Tucker standing in the office doorway and knew immediately that something was not right. As if he was reading my mind, he vomited a large amount of foul smelling yuckiness. He'd had some diarrhea the day before but this was something new.
Once we got everything cleaned up (several times in fact) and the dogs walked, we went back to bed for about an hour.
Fortunately, as I write this, there has been no more vomiting (and his tummy has stopped making churning noises) and no diarrhea since around 7:30 am.
Hopefully 24 hours without food will set his digestive tract a-okay. Duchess has been put on a mixture of rice with dog food since she had a bit of a loose stool yesterday as well.
In other news, we've had three different companies come out and give us quotes on fencing in the back yard. It's certainly not an inexpensive undertaking but the dogs will be able to get more sunshine, fresh air and exercise, we'll be able to let them out at will (and not have to walk them in yucky weather) and perhaps up the re-sale value on our home (not that we plan on selling it any time soon).
