Still trying to get over the cold that has been with me all week. The tsunami of snot whacked me pretty hard.
daecabhir has earned several gold stars for putting up with a whining woman all week and doing so quite gracefully.
Speaking of that amazing man of mine (Gods! I love the sound of that!) he is due home soon - he is taking the motorcycle course this weekend! Sounds dorky but I am very proud of him for even wanting to give it a try.
Speaking of things on two wheels, the Wing is home but with a cold in the girl and cold temperatures outside, there has been no riding.
There has been stretching. Or really, spinal decompression therapy (SDT). Dr. Ward, the chiropractor in Dr. Truong's office, put me through the first round of SDT on Thursday. Not sure if it's doing anything yet but I feel taller. /wink
My shoulder is finally feeling better - I hope the nerve pain stays away!
Right know I am knitting on two projects (and finally understand why one has multiple projects going). The first is a sock on the AKB sock loom that I got for the holidays. Knitting socks has proved _much_ tougher than I thought it would. I wanted to take up knitting for the fun and meditative quality of it and sock knitting requires a lot of concentration. It's also very time consuming since the stitches are much smaller. To give myself a break from the sock (and to be able to knit when I am tired or unable of focusing), I have been working on knitting mittens on the round blue KK loom. One pair is done (destined to be a holiday gift for someone TBD) and the current pair is for Wilma for her birthday next month. Hopefully it's not too weird to give someone mittens in May.
