pandasheart: Panda's Heart (huh?)
It's been one of those weeks where I have probably gotten a fair amount accomplished but it just doesn't feel like it. There has been sewing, house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, playing with clay and etc. Right now it's a little hard to think because a headache is living in my skull and ignoring the Tylenol that I took a half an hour ago to banish it.

This week at the farmers market traffic was a bit light and had it not been for [livejournal.com profile] njzoomom's friend, Linda, stopping by, I would not have sold anything at all. She took two pieces of my pottery home with her and she treated us to lunch after the market which was very nice.

P3 now has it's very own bank account at our new credit union. I've already arranged for the transfer of my IRA with Apple FCU to another financial institution. This means that I can close out the other accounts at Apple and write them a letter explaining that piss-poor customer service just lost them a member who has been with them for almost 20 years.

Speaking of P3, tomorrow while we are in Maryland, we will be picking up a utility sink that I found on Craigslist - a brand new, double bowl with faucet. Of course, we'll still need to get it in installed, but this is a great deal and since we'll be in the area anyway, it works out very well.

This week also found two members of our friends and family in the hospital - my Uncle Richard and [livejournal.com profile] 1painter42's husband - fortunately they were both released today and are home recuperating.

We've sold some more junk  ... erm, I mean stuff ... on eBay. One box went out Wednesday, another will go out tomorrow and three more things will sell for sure next week. It's one way to get stuff out of the house and recoup a little money that was spent on the items in the first place.

It's hard to believe that our beach trip is coming up in a month. It will be good to see some old friends again and meet a lot of new ones since this year's trip is about half new folks. We're a little nervous because at this point not all of the rooms have rented which means everyone will have to kick in more money. When we all get together and meet about next year's house, I will once again put in my two cents for a smaller house.

Since the beach trip is right around the corner, it also means that MDRF is just about upon us. Opening day is August 25th - just two weeks away! It will be wonderful to be back in our Revel Grove home with our rennie (and real) family.
