Whew

Today's mammogram re-do and ultrasound came back okay enough to avoid a biopsy, but I am now in the 'every-six-months' club for a re-check. Since I was close to my doctor's office, I stopped in as a walk-in to see the PA about this flu that doesn't want to let me go. Now I have antibiotics and the yuckiest cough medicine ever created.

After checking GoodWill for cutting boards (to cut up for extruder dies) and striking out, I decided to take a quick peek in Tuesday Morning for yarn. Oops - I came out with twelve skeins of fun yarn - three skeins of cotton, four skeins of 'bambool' - 80% bamboo/20% wool, and the rest is mostly merino of various weights.

daecabhir came home early and while he was outside puttering in the second garage, I spent some time in the studio cleaning up yesterday's pottery - two more bread baskets, two yarn bowls, a few horse head ornaments, and some pendants that I am experimenting with.

This evening we're listening to Depeche Mode's latest CD - Delta Machine. There are a winners and a few WTF songs; I guess they can't all be hits. A lot of the songs are *very* heavy on 'synth' sound - in a out-of-balance' way. The boys are touring the US this summer and we have tickets to the September 10th show at Jiffy Lube Live. They cost a small fortune but it's not like DM is in town often.
