Arrived back home after Rivahfest! to find that Tucker had gotten out of the backyard and was waiting for us on the front porch. He's fine, but that was quite a scare. After we walked the fence-line to see where he might have gotten out, we were assaulted by a black wasp on the deck (and we are pretty sure that it stung
daecabhir on the ankle). Once everyone was settled in, we went back out to get some more stuff in from the Endeavor and found a hummingbird in the garage who couldn't seem to find his way back out.
That's enough excitement for one evening!
Rivahfest! was a bust, which is a shame because it's a nice show. Sales didn't cover my application fee, let alone travel expenses. From what we learned talking with other vendors, it just doesn't seem to be a money making show. At least the day was pretty and I had great company.
