Lots done!
July 4th, 2013 08:01 pmLots accomplished today including sleeping in; a 'traditional' summer holiday meal for lunch - 'burgers', corn-on-the-cob, and watermelon; a not-so-traditional meal of stir fry for dinner; and LOTS done in the main garage. Kudos to
daecabhir for doing all of the cooking today!
With the GoldWing at MFI trying to get sold, we have room in the main garage that has been slated for the riding mower and the leaf vac. We spent a good chunk of the day sorting through tools and assorted stuff and then either putting stuff away, relocating it to the second garage, throwing the junk away, putting aside some stuff for GoodWill, and sticking some items out for free by the road (most of which was gone within a few hours). While we're not quite ready for the mower and vac to come up since there is currently 300 pounds of glaze chemicals and a lot of studio shelves still to be moved, the garage is looking great. During the cleaning process we evicted five toads and swept up enough mouse poop to make a mouse.
Speaking of the Wing, it's still listed on MFI's website for sale (currently the only used Wing in their inventory). While I had really hoped it would have been sold by now, maybe it will move on to a new home this month.
Tomorrow will be an 'out and about' day for the adorkable duo - we're planning a trip to Tyson's to do some shopping for various things and rumor has it, there'll be meal at Shamshiry.
