Pokety, poke, poke
July 22nd, 2013 09:54 pmSince my right arm has not been getting any better and the only person who seemed to help it has been my chiropractor - I decided to listen to him and see about trigger point injections. I had been avoiding seeing Dr. Truong about it because she really pushes the PRP a bit much and I didn't feel like dealing with that. Fortunately, I was able to see her PA, Stephanie, about it since Dr. Truong had looked at my arm albeit briefly.
Stephanie performed performed a type of acupuncture where she injected small amounts of lactated ringers into the muscle (but not very deep). There were at least two dozen injection sites in the spot that hurts and then she hooked me up for some e-stim. My arm was swollen afterwards and bruised (she had warned me about both of these beforehand) but she said that i should see relief soon; I go back next Monday for another round.
