A quickie before bed
July 31st, 2013 10:45 pmWell, an LJ post for the rest of you!
No word from MFI on the Wing despite crossed fingers. I sure hope it sells soon as I would like to stop paying for the insurance on it.
Yesterday found me in Baltimore getting to hang out with
dreamtigress and making my first wholesale sale of yarn bowls. Cephlapod Yarns bought 8 yarn bowls and it was nice to deliver them in person even though I didn't get meet the owner, Sarah. Amazingly I didn't come home with any yarn even though their fiber is stunning. I did manage to come home with a parking ticket (but it's really all
dreamtigress' fault).
In the studio this afternoon I made two more breadbaskets, started on four finger labyrinths, and created test tiles from the Standard 553 clay (which I am really pleased with the raw color of). My goal is to fire the kiln before construction starts to minimize the amount of greenware in the space.
Not much time for knitting lately, but there has been a little progress on my current work-in-progress, a scarf for my brother-in-law in Redskin colors.
And with that little bit of typing, it's bed time!
