That is the sound of a weekend going by in a flash.
This weekend was devoted to running electrical stuff in the basement and the studio. In order to help me visualize the placement of things, my Panda clamped all of the outlet and switch boxes in place so that I could make sure they are in the right place. After a yummy breakfast at IHOP and another run to Lowes, much of today was devoted to wiring - pulling the lines, etc. for the studio. daecabhir work his hairy bum off but he indulged my desire to spray paint the outlet and switch covers garnet red. While at the Lowes in Culpeper, we were able to get a close up look at the new sink we've been eyeing (we like it) as well as pick out grout for the bathroom makeover.
Tomorrow one of the contractor crew will be here to finish the demo on the master bathroom shower. In addition to the shower, we'll be getting rid of the white tile molding on the walls and the darned hard-to-clean chrome bull nose. Hurrah!
I reckon I will have to backdate some more posts in an effort to catch things up. You're not really surprised by that are you?
