MDRF has come to a close and this week is about dealing with the aftermath ... too many loads of laundry to count, running pottery through the dishwasher to remove the faire from it, putting away garb and other faire goodies, as well as trying to catch up on mundane things like paying bills and cleaning the house.
This year's MDRF was another year of new experiences, old friends, new acquaintances, and *many* laughs. A big thanks to all of the folks who came by Tessem Stoneware to say hello, check to see if we needed anything, and bought pottery. (Arthur Adams - this includes you and Kathleen!)
Speaking of Master Tessem, my favorite curmudgeon potter turns 75 today. Happy birthday, Sir!
Most importantly, I would like thank
daecabhir for making it possible for me to 'do what I do' ... I couldn't do this without him. The man must be crazy; he married me.
Although I miss helping
dreamtigress in her booth, I am grateful for the encouragement that she gives me on a continual basis to play with clay.
