Lots of pots

Hoping that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, or Thursday in your neck of the woods.

Not only was I surrounded by family and friends all day to help me celebrate Thanksgiving - but today is also my birthday. There were lots of lovely presents for me including quite a few that will be in the studio tomorrow.

On our Thanksgiving table, there were pots from at least five different potters, three of whom I know personally and one of which is yours truly.

Missing a friend

Two years ago today I lost a very good friend of mine to cancer. We were two peas in pod ... or perhaps more aptly, two meatballs on the same slice of pizza. A soul mate of sorts who found out that he had cancer on his birthday and then died on mine. I am so thankful for the time that he was in my life.
