QotD - 2nd weekend edition

This year I am throwing on a treadle wheel throughout the day at VARF. Here are some tidbits heard around the wheel.

Mother to daughter: Do you want to go watch Circus Stella?
Daughter: No. This is cooler.

Same daughter after seeing me slice a freshly thrown pot in half. "That was scary and satisfying.

Mother and brother to younger brother (trying to get said younger brother to leave the demo), "Come on, we'll get you a snow cone!"
Younger brother: "I'd rather stay here and watch this!"
