Faire!

Today the ex, Mom & I went to Faire! We got to see dreamtigress's new booth.  (Well, OK, Mom & I had seen it before but not all finished!)  Even though I brought garb, I opted to wear some ofdreamtigress's along with my leather corsety-vest.

Highlights of the day:

• Catching a full performance by the Rogues.
• The Rogues' encore of Amazing Grace which started out on the bagpipes, then added a fiddle & then became jig - all so tastefully!
• Watching a bit of the joust - in the shade!
• Gumby wearing a codpiece on his head.
• A glass worker greeting the ex with: "G'day Sir, you sure are tall today!"
• The ex's response of: "I was this tall yesterday too."
• My retort of: "I hope he's that tall tomorrow!"
• Getting matching keepers for my mug & fan

And the highest highlight of the day...

• Upon walking into Faire, I was greeted by a lovely Courtesan who invited me to join her later in the day at the "kissing bridge"  She looked at the ex, then back at me & said, "You may bring your man servant as well."
