pandasheartSDD = Sneaky Darned Deer
This evening found me getting some time with my crossbow again. I carefully set up so that I could watch the two deer that have been traveling up along our property line. I made sure that I had at least 3 good shooting paths.
Right about the time they normally come through ... nothing! I waited with crossbow at the ready & suddenly a loud snort behind me. A large-bodied deer had come in from behind! I waited for it bound off before changing my position. It came back to get another look at whatever was in its woods (me) twice more but I never had a clean shot.
At least I am seeing more deer than last year. Now to get a shot at one!
