Wednesday rubbish
March 8th, 2006 09:00 amAn interview time/date has been set with the animal hospital that is 50+ miles from home ~ March 14th at 2 pm. I'll need to leave the office at noon to allow for travel time. I'm not really sure what I will do if I am offered the position.
The relatively new CFO of our company mentioned this morning that he is shocked that I am not a manager of a higher order & that the President & VP speak very highly of me. hmmm
I discovered yesterday that our warehouse manager makes about the same salary that I do. Why do I keep feeling like I've gotten the short end of the stick?
I need to interrupt my blather with this important message:
Hugs to my Tigery sister because she needs them.
OK, back to the musings of a deranged mind...
I've got plenty of work to do but I am bored & not really wanting to do any of it. I've left the building for lunch more in the past week & a half than I did in the previous month of working during the day. Guess what ... it feels good! I just wish there was some place nice to go that isn't shopping of some sort. When I worked in northern VA, there were tons of places to window shop as well as a local library to hang out in while on a break. Out here there is a Wal-Mart.
Oh well, enough of my belly-aching ... I'd better get something productive done!
