Finally Friday
March 17th, 2006 03:15 pmWoohoo! I've made it to yet another Friday. Happy St. Patrick's Day for those of you who indulge in green beer & bagels. No, I'm not wearing green. The last person who pinched me got his arse kicked. Literally. It was fun to see the look on his face when I booted him in the derriere! Guess he didn't think I could get my leg up that high.
Life is good. I am sitting at my desk ~ not too stressed ~ munching on Wheat Nuts. I adore Wheat Nuts, having gotten hooked on them about 15 years ago. Trouble was finding in the grocery store was impossible since the last 7 or so years. Lo & behold, while visiting our friends in North Carolina, we went to their local grocery store to purchase some yummy Polar diet soda & we found Wheat Nuts. I imported 10 jars into Virginia!
This weekend should find us finishing (or almost finishing) our flooring project. We still have the laundry room & one closet to do, in addition to all the trim work. I volunteered to work on the perimeter sealing with the caulking but Brian chuckled & said he would handle it. My plants on the far end of the living room will be very happy since we moved everything from the dining room into the living room, I have not been able to water them!
Also this weekend is our beloved Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department's fried chicken dinner! Woohoo ~ we love their chicken! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
