Here I am!
May 6th, 2006 08:51 pmI'm still around ... just not able to find some quality writing time lately.
HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO
dreamtigress ! (5/6)
Public announcements over!
Things have been really busy both at home & at home lately. The ex has been gone this week ~ hunting turkey in New Hampshire. He didn't get one, but his best buddy did. Sounds like they had a fun time and the ex should be walking in the door any moment from his trip.
I'm down to pretty much one project at work & it is a nightmare. Issues with art, data, outside vendors & getting approvals from my client are all working against me on this one. This is supposed to be my last project before heading completely in management/planning/whatever. More on that another time.
Someone ran our mailbox over this morning. I wasn't quite sure what to do so I called the County Sheriff & they sent out a very nice deputy. While there wasn't much that he could do, I did learn that I have a pretty good eye for crime scenes (thank you, Mr. Monk) & the deputy insisted on getting the mailbox fixed up enough so that we could get mail today.
Hopefully I will be able to make some time to ramble a bit here about whatever else is going on with me.
Ciao!
