Hello May?
May 8th, 2006 10:51 amHere it is the 8th of May & it is cold & rainy outside. That translates into, "No, I'm not riding the GoldWing today." What is it about nasty weather that makes folks ask, "On the bike today?"
The ex came home Saturday night & I'll admit that I was pretty happy to see him (vice versa too!). He opened his birthday presents & noshed on chocolate chip cookies sent by our friends in NJ. The vent visors that I got for his truck need to be returned; when packaged, part of one visor was sliced off! Poor quality control on that assembly line for sure.
The leadership seminar I attended on the 5th was great! 360 degree leadership was the focus ~ leading up, down & sideways (peer). There's a few books that I'll be adding to wish list by some of the speakers. Unfortunately, a storm came in during the second to last speaker (Kathy Ireland, of all folks) & we lost the video feed, so things ended a bit early. I waited out the worst of the rain & rode home, getting a bit wet but not totally soaked.
