Coming home this evening, my lower back was hurting something awful & I was just wanting to be home & get hugs & take some drugs. It was a long dang day at work too. (More about that another time.)
Instead, as I am almost home (so close that I am starting see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak) a little red car is coming around a curve ~ very fast & in MY lane! With brakes squealing, the red car goes sideways & I aimed the Endeavor right off the asphalt. I'm not sure exactly how the guy (yes, I assume the moron was a guy) managed to keep the car from spinning out of control, but he did it. I lucked out with having a safe place to "exit" the road safely.
Took me a while to breath normally again ... guess I am getting old for this sort of crap. Thanks to Brian for many hugs & to vicodin & a heating pad for my back.
