I went hunting yesterday afternoon since the weather was somewhat mild; didn't see a thing except for squirrels & birds. Once the sun started setting, the temperature dropped sharply & I became cold. Right when I was about ready to pack it in early, I saw the moon poking through the trees in front of me. What a nice surprise.
Big & full ... hello gorgeous!
The energy buzz that I got from my friend, the moon, allowed me to stay in the woods just a little longer. As I was walking along the tree line to go home, I stopped, leaned up against a huge oak & used my binoculars to get a closer look at the glowing moon.
Oh! Enough to take your breath away!
I watched the moon ... or really vice versa ... the whole walk home.
What a treat!
This morning when I woke up, the first thing I did was check outside to get a glimpse of the moon again, this time, of course, on the other end of the sky. Once again, it was peering at me through the trees, though this time on its descent. Still lovely & wearing a halo of haze.
Later on in the morning, I was treated to a really wonderful sunrise show. As some of you may know, I am really a sunset girl, but today's dawn is unfolding around me in pinks & oranges & beauty.
