It's craziness, I tell ya!
April 6th, 2007 04:30 pmMy interview with Colonial Circuits went well. Really well. This 27 year old company makes circuit boards for various applications. One of their long-term contracts is making the boards for the Bradley fighting vehicles being used in Iraq. They seem to have a good mix of both private & government customers. Their niche is making highly specialized boards & fast turn times.
Next step will be an interview with the owner & a few other big wigs. The opportunity open to me is that of Production Control (management) which is what I have been doing for a long time. Oddly enough, there are many similarities between printing & circuit board manufacturing.
Of course, I start my new job with CFC on Monday so assuming that I am called back for the second interview with Colonial, it will be a tricky process to say the least. I do not like wasting people's time but everyone (you know who you are) keep telling me that I have to what is right for me & don't worry about it too much.
Rhetorical question of the day: Why is it nearly impossible to find women's pants that are both tall & plus-sized. Big girls can be tall too, yanno!
STILL no puppies from our little second momma. Her belly & doggie boobies keep growing. If she does not whelp over the weekend she may up under my desk at CFC!
Took my wedding band & engagement ring for it's first check up. Thankfully no more loose stones were found & my ring is all sparkling again.
