A hot hump day
April 25th, 2007 05:56 pmBecause I am stubborn, I am trying to avoid putting the air conditioning on before May 1st. Last week I was wearing sweaters, this week I am in a tank top & shorts. 3 days of spring does not a season make! I demand a recount!
Today found me in Adobe Photoshop for beginners ... being paid for by CFC. By the way, i had been referring to CFC as the "Co-op" but I just learned yesterday that they are trying to get away being the "Co-op" & more towards being known as CFC. Since I am the marketing person, I will do my little part right here & use CFC from here on.
After sitting in the Photoshop class for most of the day, all I can say is that I am glad CFC < wink > paid for the class & not me because I would have to ask for a refund if it was my money! All the instructor did was turn us loose with the crappy course book & let us play. Oh, he did show us websites he designed ... that he hosts on his own web hosting company.
At least it was a day off from work & I got some time to play in Photoshop without the distractions of work. I'm looking for a good Photoshop reference book if you have any suggestions. Something easy to to use & under 500 pages. (The Photoshop Bible was the instructor's suggestion ... from what I saw of it on Amazon, it's not for me.)
Today I gave the puppies (litter #1) some toys to play with. What an absolute riot! They are not very coordinated yet, so there was lots of falling over & such. They are so darned cute!
Litter #2 ... good Goddess! These two boys are HUGE! They look like fat little Budhas! The tri-color male's eyes are half-open today (finally!) & the lemon male's eyes are a bit more open than yesterday. They are taking their sweet time! Their bodies are so big & their legs so short, I don't know how they are going stand up! As I type this they are in a small tub in front of me, snoozing away.
