An interview!
April 30th, 2007 10:44 pmRoss Industries contacted me late last week & asked to set up an interview with me. They are a firm I interviewed at the beginning of March & had the marathon 6 hour interview with. It took them a month or so, but I finally got a flush letter, so I had written them off. Seems the person they hired lasted only a week & then disappeared.
The VP of Sales & Marketing agreed to meet with me after work. I let him know that I am fairly happy where I am. He let me know the job was mine if I wanted it, but after the interview, I pretty much knew that it is not a job I would enjoy. They really need an executive assistant, not me. The catch? They can probably pay me $10,000 more than I make at CFC & give more vacation.
After deliberating over for a while with Brian, I have decided to pass on the Ross job. They just don't give the same warm fuzzies I get from CFC & I think it would get frustrating fast.
