Tired Thursday
May 10th, 2007 09:20 pmFor some reason, I have been very tired today. Lots of yawns. In fact, my boss even teased me about it. Of course, I think he noticed because it started him yawning too.
This morning I was supposed to do another photo shoot with our resident equine specialist. She called in around 10:30 or so to say that we would do it next week. I was also supposed to have a 3 pm meeting with one of the store managers about signage. He popped his head in the office around 4 pm & said he would be right back. At 5:20, I left a note for him saying I couldn't wait around any longer as I had puppies to tend to.
Maybe I'm just cranky, but as someone who used to run a daily meeting, it is mildly annoying.
Speaking of the photography thing, 2 of my photos from the hunt club will be featured in an upcoming ad for horse feed.
Not much time left to play with the puppies tonight after getting home & making dinner & stuff. The 2 little ones are walking a bit better now though & the gang of 5 left of litter #1 followed me into the garage very well. Their momma's milk is pretty much dried up, although she has one mammary gland that is a bit swollen. After 2 days of warms compresses, it is going down nicely.
We finally gave in & turned on the AC. Today was very muggy & the ex informed me that our window fan stopped working.
My Mother sprung a surprise on me this afternoon ... she's had her driveway paved! She's a sneaky one! The ex called her impulsive, but I know that a lot of thought went into her decision. He only sees the end result.
I'm SO glad tomorrow is Friday!
