Yup, I am back to being glad it's Friday! First thing this morning I got a call from a former co-worker. It seems that the ticket my former employer bought for me for a leadership seminar was up for grabs after all. Sadly, the chance of me getting to go was pretty slim. Sure enough, when I asked Ed about it, he said he would prefer that I stay in the office. bleh.
Had a meeting right through my lunch time & didn't get a chance to grab a bite until after 2 pm. Sheesh, only been at CFC month & look what's going on. LOL I'm making an effort to save some of the various things that I am designing in case it ever comes in handy. I don't really have much creative talent, but it is fun pretending.
The ex is sick ... achy & feverish. So sick that he skipped a dinner out at Pancho Villa, which is a restaurant he loves. I woke him up to feed him medicine & make him drink some water, but he is sleeping a ton. I doubt that we will be going turkey hunting in the morning..
The 5 pups left of litter #1 are looking more & more like little dogs, instead of puppies. How dare they grow up on me! The boys of litter #2 are getting around much better & the blue-eyed tri-color boy is whispering in my ear ... just like that little tri-color female of litter #1 did. I'm trying not to listen!
