Satuday sleep in
May 12th, 2007 09:12 amThe ex is still very sick which means that I got to sleep in until SIX THIRTY! This also mean no turkey hunting today. After getting all the dogs taken care of, I am trying to get a bit of house work done.
Got some quality time in with the 2 boys of litter #2. The [still!] blue-eyed tri-color male likes to give me kisses & while he was sitting with me, he crawled up on my shoulders & fell asleep wrapped around my neck. ~ lalalalala ~ I am not listening to your puppy whispers of "Keep me"! The lemon male looks like he will be an almost all-white Beagle. The only coloring he has a little on his ears, 2 spots on his head & a smidgen around his eyes. The spots on his head are still two different shades of red which is very cute.
The remaining tri-color female of litter #1 will go to her new home today; she will live in VA. Tomorrow, Ranock & the "furry little brother" go to their new homes as well. Someone is sending a deposit for the lemon female we call "little miss feisty" & that leaves only one lemon male (the one who used to fall asleep in my arms) left. Puppy sales have gone much better than I had hoped for.
Momma dog's mammary issue is clearing up nicely. Time to work on finding her a good home. She's a very sweet dog, just a bit funny looking.
Time to get back to housework & puppy tending!
