Sorta happy it's Thursday.
Today I raised a cup of Starbucks in honor of a departed friend. Cheers, Alan Wilberger. I miss your wit & short pants & velcro shoes.
No new nibbles on puppies. I called one paper & found out that to advertise in the northern VA area would be $75. I laughed & told the gal no thanks.
After pulling a tick off my leg yesterday that had hardly bitten me, I have a good-sized swollen area on my leg. It wasn't a deer tick & there is no bulls eye ... just need to keep an eye on it.
Our internet connection is having issues today. This darned broadband has been disappointing.
We have friends coming in from NJ late tomorrow night. They'll be staying with us through the holiday weekend for a good visit. Well, sort of staying with us ... they bring their motor home!
The bestest part? Our fire department is putting on one of their friend chicken dinners on Saturday night & we will pig out on some the most awesome eats!
