Roller Coaster
July 22nd, 2007 06:41 pmI don't feel that my body is fighting this dumb infection as it should. We called the oral surgeon & after talking over our options, we'll go into the Culpeper office first thing tomorrow morning (instead of the 4 pm appointment I already had). It was either this or drive to Charlottesville tonight.
A few non-surgery updates:
Brian went fishing yesterday with our nephew & they had a great time. They took Brian's kayak out on the Shenandoah for the day. They both caught some fish & went swimming & got sunburnt.
The last puppy was picked up this week. Once I had the surgery, we called the gal to tell her that there was no way we could deal with the puppy with me recovering. His new name will be either Snickers or Buster. His new mom & I are leaning towards Snickers - I hope we win. The pup got along really well with her "puggle" (honest - a pug-beagle cross!) which is always a good sign.
My boss seems to have settled down a bit with me being gone. I was going to try to do another project from home, but the files I asked to be sent never arrived. We stopped by CFC on Friday on the way from the doctor's office so Brian could up a few things. The boss even joked that he will look super busy when the new General Manager comes on board Monday.
Brian finally cleaned up kitchen after I think he realized that I was not well enough to do it. He worked on it & came in to announce that it was all clean & that it only took him 10 minutes. To which I responded, "That's great honey! Now you can do it all the time!" HAHA
