Not a day ...
January 21st, 2008 10:11 pmToday is not a day off for me. It used to be, but now it's not. The ex has the day off (of course) & he volunteered to do the grocery shopping.
THUD
Really, he volunteered to go grocery shopping. I am thrilled! Usually what is happens is that I wolf my lunch down in ten minutes or less & race to the grocery store, do the power-push-cart-race to get what's on my list, hit the check out & try to get back to the office by the time my lunch hour is up.
Of course, there was a phone call that went like this:
Ex: "Do you use chicken stock in a can?"
AM: "I have, yes ... why do you ask?"
Ex: "There's a dented can for sale cheap."
AM: THUD
Wow, not only did he go shopping, but he scoped out the dented can section. He also bought me dates as a surprise snack because he knows I enjoy them. There was also a bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when I got home. He also bought some pink grapefruit sorbet as a special treat!
Who is this man? LOL
I sure hope he stays around!
The big news today is that the graphics were done on the first box truck of the CFC fleet. It's looks simply awesome! The driver is tickled is to death. Coordinating this whole project has been a logistics nightmare, but it seems that the box truck scheduling will go smoother than the feed trucks did. At least that is what I am hoping for.
