After chatting with my Mom & telling her that even though Tango is pretty much all bald & blind now, his appetite has been good. I came home & checked in on him tonight ... only to notice that he had not eaten. In addition, he's been laying in some pretty weird positions lately - even for a ferret.
In case you were wondering, ferrets do not make very good bald critters.
The blindness doesn't seem to bother him in the least. Perhaps their short attention span is a blessing in this arena as well. The internal conversation would go something like this:
Ferret: "Oh no, I can't see a thing!"
Ferret: "I smell a raisin!
Ferret: zzzzzz
In other news, Brian & I are still trying to beat the stupid flu; it doesn't seem to want to turn us totally loose from its grip. He returned to work today.
