I am tired but not sleepy, so after 20 or so minutes of trying to fall asleep, I gave up, got out of bed & took a sleeping pill (per doctor's orders, yada, yada). Hopefully it will kick in soon so that I can get some rest.
If things work out, Cooper & Tucker have an appointment to be neutered on May 7th through the Culpeper Humane Society. I'm a little nervous about sending them off this way (literally, I drop them off in a parking lot & a van whisks them an hour away) but it's most affordable option we have to get the boys de-nutted.
This appointment works out super well since it is also the evening that we plan on riding down to the OBX. Mom will pick the boys up the day after their surgeries & hopefully they will be good recovering patients for her. It's also gets Tucker fixed at a perfect time & since Cooper is WAY overdue it just makes sense for him to go along for the ride.
In a last ditch effort to make me say or think something nice about President Shrub (aka George W.), The ex has announced that "W" is going to buy me the crossbow I have been wanting. I.e. the ex wants to use our rebate check to buy the crossbow. While we have better things that we could spend the money on, the ex says I can't fight him on this one.
OK ... time for me to try to get some rest. Good night!
