Fall is really here now ... we even had some frost yesterday to prove it.
As if dropping temperatures outside were not enough, I am even freezing inside. Since the GM likes his office to be an ice box & he controls the entire side of the hallway he is on, every office down my (& the GM's) side of the hall are freezing. In fact, three of us are running heaters & wearing sweaters; the worker bees who are not running heaters are wearing sweaters. For the electricity that all this is taking, the GM could just run a room AC unit for himself!
Monday's evening hunt was a repeat of the day before; nice spot but no deer. This time I tried setting up in dry creek area that we have seen deer in before. Brian helped me put my disappointment in perspective with tales of guys hunting for years without getting any deer or even seeing one.
Not sure where I will try tonight.
Spoke with the sales manager for Ashley Furniture this morning & he said he would have the customer service manager call me ASAP. 3 pm & no phone call. Why am I not surprised?
