Friday Quickie
November 14th, 2008 02:23 pmThe guys from Ashley showed up at 8:40 am with the new hutch. Turns out one of the guys was a hunter. This discovery was made when he asked, "I see that your husband must hunt."

After straightening the boy out to the fact that TWO hunters live in the house, we got along just fine. He told me about the two spike bucks he shot yesterday in the rain.
Being chummy was a good idea, since one of the hutch's doors was totally out of whack & my new buddy spent a lot of time to get it right.
The new hutch seems OK. The staining on the drawer fronts is a bit more even although there are 2 small knots in the wood. "Character" according to Brian.
My new work PC seems to working okie-dokie.
Met Mom & Wilma for lunch. The local Chinese buffet folks must love us. LOL
