To nosy admin assistants everywhere:
My time entered on the electronic time website is just fine even though I left 3 hours early on the day before Thanksgiving with a fever. It was awfully considerate of you to CC my 'boss' & the HR lady on your little inquiry. Had I deemed it necessary to put sick or vacation leave in, I would have done so.
Let's forget for a moment that it is preposterous for salaried employees to keep a time clock; especially one that is limited to 8 hours per day.
Why have you not checked in with me when I have worked trade shows that required overnight travel, weekends and/or 14+ hour days. My working through lunch hours has not been required to be entered into the system, nor does coming in early, staying late or working weekends.
Perhaps you have always been an hourly employee & cannot fathom what takes place in the salaried world. Perhaps you're trying to brown nose someone. Perhaps you might try to keep your nose out of my business.
