Win & weenie
October 12th, 2009 07:56 pmYesterday at MDRF was a blast as always. I brought snackerels with me for the booth & we had fun noshing on yummy bread, sliced cheeses and pickles.
The local Martins grocery had black current lambic; a flavor we had not tried before. It is quite tart, especially when compared to the peach that seems to be everyone's favorite. This - of course - did not prevent the bottle being empty in no time flat!
Even though I was mostly a "booth flower" for much of the day, I did get to see the Rogues (YAY!) and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dreamtigress and I went to pubsing in the evening. Keep in mind I have not been to one since 1996 most likely! It was great fun as the theme was a pajama party!
After getting home late last night and having a bit of a tiring morning, I decided to be a weenie this evening and did not go hunting. I will get back out there soon though!
