A day in the life...

Today I saw Dr. Truong for the follow-up on my neck treatment. She is happy with my neck's muscle tone and movement now. Next she read in my chart about what Steve has been doing with my shoulder and after her exam, pronounced that it is rotator cuff issues. Then I asked her about my plantar faciitis and she had a field day with my foot.
After discussing her treatment plan, I have decided to proceed with regenerative injection therapy (platelet-rich plasma). In this procedure, my own plasma will be injected into the damaged tendon. The good news is that she has had very good success with this treatment and it seems be a growing trend in sports medicine. The down side (beside needles in my foot) is that insurance does not cover the cost of the platelet kit ($200); however, the boot that I will be wearing for two weeks post-procedure and the procedure itself will be covered.
What fun!
Next stop was Lens Crafters - AGAIN - to have my eyeglasses adjusted. Seems they keep torquing out whack on their own. Thankfully someone finally realized that there was a defect in the lens that was causing this and they remade my lenses. Due to the fact that I wear progressives, both lenses must be replaced at the same time.
Treadmill = zero - However, while I was waiting on my glasses, I did mall power walk thing about 15-10 minutes. I thought that "art" of mall walking was dead, but there was a couple doing it also and decked out in sweatsuits no less.
After a few days of ... let's call it hell ... I have sent the settlement agreement and property division documents to my lawyer. Hopefully we can get everything signed and in order quickly with a minimum amount of fuss.
